Art Clay natural leaf

Natural leaf with very definitive structure, outline and folds.  After firing, all this remains and the veins and tiny structures are visible.  Many layers of dilute Artg Clay are added with complete drying b etween layers makes for a long time to create.  Once the appropriate thickness is attained, kiln firing is undertaken.  The final steps of brush and burnishing were completed and particularly difficult in this very detailed piece.  Beautiful outcome!!
